a snowy Friday...with the lone humingbird feeder gathering snow

we had assembly line Valentines bags for the boys classrooms...

we stuffed Valentine gift bags with sunCatcher instructions and pixie sticks for the coloring tool.

Of course we didnt have actual parties due to the snow Friday...but it was

fun to watch Sean time himself on how fast he could assemble a gift bag.

sun catcher project..

How did we get such fabulous ice creations? Why, let me tell you:

ice cube trays with food coloring..freeze them..dump them into a cake pan 2/3 full of water.

Refreeze it all with a cup in it to create the "hole" (dont use water in the cup..use rocks..

easier to get it out without cracking the entire thing)!

Our next one we are creating will old Halloween candy.

How fun will that be for the boys..smashing the hell out of candy into a million pieces.
